About Cora Moore Racing
Cora is a 12-year-old racing driver from West Sussex who has been passionate about motorsport since the age of nine. Her karting journey began at her local TeamSport track, where she quickly caught the attention of coaches with her natural pace and determination. Over the past three years, Cora has raced in a range of Rookie and National championships and with each season, she has demonstrated remarkable progress, consistently improving her results and earning respect from her peers and competitors alike.
Cora’s achievements include two top 5 Championship finishes in GKL (2024), podiums in Jamie Chadwick Championship rounds, and a strong 31st out of 87 overall in the fiercely contested Club100 series. In 2025, she shone in the DRS 50s championship, finishing 11th out of 46 drivers and claiming the honour of being the highest scoring female driver in the series. Her achievements have garnered interest from motorsport journalists and will very soon be featured in the upcoming edition of Auto Addicts Magazine.
Cora’s progress has been marked by a keen attention to detail and a willingness to put in the hard work behind the scenes, both in the garage and on the circuit. One of her standout moments in 2025 was reaching the finals of the prestigious X-Kart Scholarship—a fiercely competitive national programme where the ultimate prize was a fully funded season racing with the X-Kart team in The Karting Championship. Competing against 180 talented drivers, Cora scored exceptionally highly, especially in the fitness assessment and the team interview portions, where her preparation and attitude truly shone. Her outstanding efforts did not go unnoticed: she was awarded two golden buzzers by different team members, recognising her as a standout driver on the day. Ultimately, Cora’s overall results saw her finish an impressive 5th out of 180, an achievement that reflects both her ability and her rapid progress.
Looking ahead, Cora is preparing for her biggest step yet: her first season in owner karting for 2026. She is involved in maintaining her own kart, learning everything from setup tweaks to engine care, and spends many weekends practising at circuits across the South-East.
In addition to her racing accomplishments, Cora has actively participated in events organised by women in motorsport, where she has connected with numerous female drivers from a wide spectrum of disciplines. Notably, in November 2024, she was selected from the attending girls to test a Rotax kart, marking her first experience with the renowned Rotax brand—a significant milestone in her development. Furthermore, Cora has featured in promotional material for Motorsport UK’s Girls Karting Academy, a programme run in partnership with Charlotte Tilbury, highlighting her as a role model for aspiring female racers.
With her dedication, resilience, and growing list of achievements, Cora is eager to take on new challenges and welcomes opportunities for partnership. Brands and organisations interested in joining her journey are invited to get in touch and become part of an exciting future in British motorsport.
